Every order that is filed by Info Screen Printing requires a Purchase Order (PO) from you before work can begin on the job. The PO is a document from you the customer giving us ALL the information to print the job correctly. It can be anything from a hand written piece of paper to a form generated by your office software. We accept PO’s in many formats (hand-written, via e-mail or fax submission). No matter how you generate it or how you deliver it, it must always have the same information. We will no longer accept inadequate PO’s. We will first call and let you know your PO has missing information and trying filling in the blanks with you over the phone. If your PO continually is placed with missing information, then we will fax the PO back to your attention to be corrected. Screen printing is extremely detailed oriented and in order for us to minimize mistakes and the time it takes to process an order we need all of the below information every time.
- The PO number
- Your Company name
- Your Company address
- Your name
- Your contact information including: office & cell phone numbers and email address
- Shipping address
- The ship date (the day it needs to leave Info Screen Printing to get to its destination by the in-hands date)
- The in-hands date (the day your customer needs the shirts by)
- Shipping method (UPS, FEDEX, ground, overnight or customer pick up)
- Who will be providing the artwork (Info, You or maybe your customer)
- How will we get the art (uploaded to site, e-mailed or delivered)
- Where were the shirts ordered from
- Were the shirts ordered under a different name
- If ordered from McCreary’s when will they be ready for pick up
- If shirts are being drop shipped when will they arrive
- If we are going to check in your product it needs to be here at least 2 days before the ship date
- What brand of shirts
- What style of shirts
- What color shirts
- How many of each
- How many location will we print
For each location we will be printing we need the following information
- Where are we printing on the shirt
- What size are we printing
- What colors are we printing, don’t forget the whites
- How many shirts get each print
If you don’t know all of this information, how are we going to produce your order correctly?
SIZING AND LOCATION
If you don’t know what size to make the print, ask your customer. We will not accept “slandered left chest size”. We need to know the exact size you want the print. If you don’t want to ask your customer because it is too much work, than you decide. We will not decide for you. We have made a list of common sizes available on the next post and on our website.
COLORS PER LOCATION
Blue is not a color. There are 50 different shades of blue on the pantone chart. We need exact colors, navy and royal are not acceptable either. Ask you customer their PMS colors and if they don’t have them help them figure it out. If the art is too complicated please e-mail it to either henry@infoscreenprinting.net or eric@infoscreenprinting.net for a quote before you send in the PO.
WHAT SHIRTS PER LOCATION
If you have a PO with several different prints we need to know exactly what shirts get what prints.
My next post will include on-line forms and check list to be download or filled out and e-mailed to us.
